Twerton & Whiteway Community Network is a group of sixteen local organisations working together to support their local community. We first met together at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and quickly recognised the importance of a unified approach towards meeting the needs of the communities where we are placed. We have carried out two meetings, with some resident involvement and plan to recruit a Network Coordinator in order to develop the aims of the network. As a group of local organisations and residents we aspire to:
• Work together more collaboratively on projects for the benefit of our local community
• Identify needs of the local community that can be addressed by the network
• Share information on developments and activities taking place within Twerton and Whiteway
• Support residents to effectively tackle local issues and make Twerton and Whiteway a great place to live
